This July, we will be sending four of our members to Southeast Asia with the help of Frontiers, a missions organization working to fulfill the Great Commission among unreached people groups! Please pray for Pastor Randy, James, Jessica, and Kenny as they begin training and preparations for the trip!

Good Friday is the day we remember and reflect on Christ and His death on the cross, paying the ultimate price for our sins. Join us this Friday evening at 8pm on the 3rd floor for a time of worship and prayer.

The Workshop bible study is back this Saturday! (2/2 10am) This quarter we will be learning about justice & hope in the books of Micah and Habbakuk. Our growing awareness of oppression and injustice in the world can be disheartening, overwhelming and confusing. The only solutions seem to be either angry protest or silent ignorance. But is this what God has in mind for his people? Join us as we open up His Word to learn His notion of justice, seek the hope he offers, and lean into His promises so that we might proclaim His gospel in the midst of an unjust and chaotic world. The Workshop starts this Saturday at 10am on the third floor of church. We hope you can join us to discuss and study the Word!

Second Nature is around the corner, and there's still time to sign up! It will be held at Pali Retreat Center from September 7 to September 9. The theme of this year’s retreat is “Called to Conquer.” You can sign up at http://bit.ly/calledtoconquer (link in profile) The cost is $140. If you can only attend part of the retreat, there are prorated costs available as well! Please talk to Janet Cho for more information or if you can only attend part of the retreat! On that note, there will be no Sunday Service at Pilgrim Church on September 9th due to Second Nature Retreat. For those of us going to retreat, we will have worship there before returning.

This past Saturday, our church took part in the Awaken & Activate Workshop, which was an opportunity “to awaken & activate the missional DNA within us.” Led by Stephen Castellow of Church Resource Ministries, the workshop gave us an opportunity to look at how our past has shaped our values, and using that to discover God’s unique calling and to take action in line with that calling. Just a reminder that we will have our monthly prayer meeting tomorrow morning (10/28) at 9am on the second floor! We hold these prayer meetings every last Saturday of the month, and it's an opportunity for church members to come together beyond our Sunday Service and pray for our church and for one another. We hope to see you there!

Join us tomorrow as we start our Bible study on Galatians! It will start at 8pm on the third floor and snacks will be provided!
